Allow cool-down, complete the checklist (switches/fuel/avionics), let the rotor stop per POH.

Blade tie-downs/restraints (esp. in wind), controls secured, doors latched, covers/chocks as required.

Keep bystanders clear — a slowing rotor droops and is still a hazard.

Document clearly for maintenance/next pilot; don’t leave a known issue unrecorded.
