Qualifications & airworthiness

Commercial = PIC for hire within 61.133; tighter standard. Currency (61.56/61.57) is the legal floor, not proficiency.
Airworthiness: annual + 100-hr (for hire), transponder/ELT, ADs, Robinson 12-yr/2,200-hr overhaul. Inop items via 91.213.

Weather & performance

No flight into known icing (R44); avoid TS/gust fronts; compute density altitude.
DA, weight, and wind drive hover/climb. OGE > IGE power. Respect the HV diagram and V_NE (varies with DA/weight).

Human factors & night

Use IMSAFE/PAVE; set personal minimums above the legal floor and resist get-there-itis.
Night: off-center viewing, ~30 min dark adaptation, 91.205(c) equipment; beware illusions — cross-check instruments.
