Max-performance takeoff needs a power margin; steep approach risks VRS — keep descent & airspeed margins.

Reduced-power arrivals & go-around

Running/roll-on landing for high DA / reduced power: shallow approach, forward speed, land aligned & level.
Go around early; apply power, climb attitude, accelerate through ETL, re-plan.
